Tonglen is the ancient Tibetan practice of taking in suffering and sending out relief.  Suffering is an inevitable part of our human experience.  We can, however, choose how we relate to suffering. Tonglen practice allows us to release fear and trust our infinite capacity to accept suffering.  Through the practice we cultivate compassion, open our hearts and deepen our sense of connection to the world around us.
