kim bradle, ryt jaya yoga llc
I am the proud owner of Jaya Yoga llc, certified Yoga & Meditation Teacher and Reiki Practitioner. My vision for Jaya Yoga has been to provide a nurturing, sacred space where all are welcome and connections are created; connection of body, mind and spirit, connection to authenticity, intuition & inspiration, connection with each other & connection with the earth.
The offerings of Jaya Yoga include customized Yoga sessions, partner Yoga, family Yoga, small group Hatha and Meditation classes and Workshops. I have had the honor to collaborate with and to host amazing artists, intuitives and practitioners. A beautiful community is growing within the space of Jaya Yoga studio.
Jaya Yoga was formed when I was at a crossroad in my professional life and decided to combine my skills, knowledge and passions. I have been a student of Yoga for 25 years and teaching Yoga for 18 years in various settings. I also have 25 years of experience in social work and mental health, serving adults, adolescents and children. For the past 10 years I have been teaching Yoga in mental health settings, including outpatient, intensive outpatient and partial hospital programs.
I am nationally registered with Yoga Alliance and have over 400 hours of training including Sivananda 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training and certifications in Yoga Meditation, Yoga Energetics & Healing, Triaxial Yoga Therapeutics, trauma informed Street Yoga and The Power of Awareness Mindfulness training with Tara Brach & Jack Kornfield. My Yoga teaching in mental health settings has been informed and guided by Tara Brach, Bo Forbes, David Emerson, Bessel Van der Kolk and David Treleaven, among others; as well as the many students I have had the honor of working with and learning from.
I have been an active member of Yoga Life Society, my sangha for 10 years. I have studied philosophy, meditation and Triaxial Yoga with Rev. Jaganath Carrera. Jaganath Carrera is the author of Inside the Yoga Sutras: a Comprehensive Sourcebook for the Study and Practice of Patanjali's Yoga Sutras and Inside Yoga Meditation. He also holds an MS in Acupuncture and has developed Triaxial Yoga Therapeutics, which combines principles of Oriental medicine with Yoga practices to access deep healing.
The practices and teachings of Yoga have been the foundation and inspiration for my path of healing, growth, opening and connection to all that life offers. Yoga is a lifestyle; we are presented with opportunities to practice Yoga in each moment. We are able to choose mindfulness, compassion, embodied awareness and connection, over and over again, in every interaction we have with ourselves and each other. I hope to inspire others to incorporate Yoga practices into daily living so they may experience well-being, resilience and a deeper connection to self and others.
